Kacsmaryk handed down a <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.txnd.330752\/gov.uscourts.txnd.330752.63.0_2.pdf\">decision<\/a> claiming that \u201cthe Title X program violates the constitutional right of parents to direct the upbringing of their children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"ftuaqu\">Kacsmaryk\u2019s decision is riddled with legal errors, some of them obvious enough to be spotted by a first-year law student. And it contradicts a <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=11882140321833713534&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=6,47&amp;as_vis=1\">42-year-long consensus<\/a> among federal courts that parents do not have a constitutional right to target government programs providing contraceptive care.
