It asks the court to declare that physicians in Idaho can provide abortion care in three specific scenarios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"break-above body-ul body-list-el\">\n<li>A pregnant person has a medical complication that makes it unsafe to continue a pregnancy or poses a risk of infection or bleeding.<\/li>\n<li>A pregnant person has an underlying medical condition that is made worse by pregnancy, cannot be treated effectively or requires recurrent, invasive intervention.<\/li>\n<li>A fetus is unlikely to survive the pregnancy or birth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Read more at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/health-news\/women-suing-idaho-abortion-ban-testify-court-rcna179226\">NBC News <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Idaho abortion trial to hear from women denied medically necessary abortions<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cThis has got to be better. This just cannot continue to happen to people,\u201d Jen Adkins, the lead plaintiff in the case, recently told the Guardian. Adkins was denied an abortion in Idaho after learning that she was likely to miscarry and that continuing her pregnancy could endanger her health.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI want people to know how these bans affect real people in real life, because I guarantee you that everybody has somebody in their life that this similar type of thing has happened to.
