A decision upholding Idaho\u2019s ban in full \u2014 and finding that EMTALA does not preserve the right to an abortion under emergency medical circumstances \u2014 could encourage <a href=\"https:\/\/19thnews.org\/2022\/05\/abortion-rights-restrictions-laws-in-your-state\/\">states with similarly restrictive bans<\/a> to ignore the federal emergency care protection.
