But almost a year later abortion is still illegal in Kentucky \u2014 thanks in large part to Attorney General <a id=\"auto-tag_daniel-cameron\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/daniel-cameron\/\" data-tag=\"daniel-cameron\">Daniel Cameron<\/a>, who defended against a challenge to the state\u2019s existing <a id=\"auto-tag_abortion-ban\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/abortion-ban\/\" data-tag=\"abortion-ban\">abortion ban<\/a> in court this year.
